Singapore Style Fried Beehoon in 3 Ways 炒米粉三式


我无米粉不欢。无论是吃虾面和卤面,我都会选米粉,我也超爱沙爹米粉。加上米粉的热量比面低,所以是比较健康的选择。

You may ask : what are the 3 ways? It's my homecooked way, stew pork way and hawker food - economical bee hoon way.

I am a beehoon fan, I lke my lo mee with beehoon, I like my prawn mee soup with beehoon. I like to eat satay beehoon, fried economical beehoon, etc.

I have been looking for economical beehoon recipe for a long time and recently finally found the right recipe from a china app and modified a little bit.

So here to show you what are 3 types of fried beehoon I cooked. The beehoon I cooked is very simple as I used simple ingredients as I want to eat the most 原始味道 of beehoon with just the right seasoning.

1. Homecooked Fried Beehoon Recipe
Ingredients:
- Beehoon for 2 person (I buy the individual portion type so just take 2 pieces)
- 1 handful of beansprouts (if you want more can add more)
- 1 - 2 egg
Seasoning:
- half pack chicken stock
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
some pepper

Method:
1. Heat wok cook egg and minced garlic.
2. Add bean sprout and soy sauce, stir fried a while. Add beehoon.
3. Add Chicken stock, fish sauce, dark soy sauce and pepper.
4. Stir fried till dry, Ready to serve.

2. Fried stew pork beehoon
Ingredients:
- 1 can Stew Pork
- Beehoon for 2 person
- a handful of beansprouts
Seasoning
- 1 - 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- soy sauce to taste
- pinch of pepper

Method:
1. Pour whole can of stew pork and wait for it to boil.
2. Add beehoon and stir well.
3. Add oyster sauce and pepper, continue to stir fried.
4. Add soy sauce to taste.
5. Stir fried till dry, Ready to serve.

3. Economical Beehoon
Ingredients:
-  - Beehoon for 2 person (I buy the individual portion type so just take 2 pieces)
- 1 handful of beansprouts (if you want more can add more)
- 1 - 2 egg
- (Optional) fish ball, fish cake, cha xiu, roast pork etc. 
- half bowl of water
Seasoning:
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 to 1 and a half tbsp oyster sauce
- pinch of garlic paste
- pinch of sugar and pepper

Method:
1. Heat wok cook egg.
2. Add bean sprout and beehoon.
3. Add soy sauce, fish sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, garlic paste and pepper.
4. Stir well till dry. Ready to serve.
