【Eng Sub】Walnut Cookies/Hup Tau Soh(Abalone Shape)| CNY Baking |❤️ 核桃酥(鲍鱼造型) | 简单做法


Walnut Cookies (Abalone Shape)

核桃酥(鲍鱼造型)

look like abalone right? Just nice for this LNY as gift 


* Simple ingredients 简单材料

* Less sugar 少糖

* Easy Recipe 简单食谱

* Crunchy texture 酥脆口感


(recipe adapted from here)

(Yield 50s cookies, depend on size/可制成50多个饼干,视大小)

材料Ingredients:

82g 砂糖 sugar 

1 鸡蛋 Egg

100g 食用油 Cooking Oil 

250g 蛋糕粉 Cake Flour

1 tsp 小苏打 Baking Soda

50g 核桃Walnut 

(可加)黑芝麻 (optional) add black sesame 

蛋液(鸡蛋)Egg Wash (1 Egg)


做法Method:

1. 核桃压成碎粒, 压至你要的大小  

walnut press into pieces, till the right size you prefer 

2. 全部材料混合至成团 mix all ingredients till form dough

3. 搓成球状 form small balls

4. 用C形物体压形 Use C shape object to form pattern 

4. 放入180度预热烤箱烤25分钟 

bake in 180 degrees preheated oven for 25 minutes


Note:

1. 隔天或之后吃会更好吃 Taste better the next few days 

2. 核桃含omega 3及丰富抗氧化成分,可降坏胆固醇 

walnut is rich in antioxidants & source of omega 3, help lower cholesterol

【Eng Sub】Cow Print Soft Bread | CNY Special |❤️牛纹松软面包| 新年特辑|简单做法 @随食慢活FoodiEat


今年的生肖年是牛年,所以试做牛纹面包(手法不熟练,请包涵)

This year zodiac animal is Ox, so trying to bake cow print bread for the first time (pardon my skill)


(Yield 1 loaf, adapted recipe from here)


Ingredients 材料:

200g 温牛奶 (40-45度)warm milk 

3g 酵母 yeast 

110g 全麦粉 wholemeal Flour

190g 面包粉 bread Flour 

 (如没全麦粉,可用300g面包粉 if no wholemeal flour, can just use 300g bread flour) 

3g 盐 Salt 

35g 细砂糖 sugar 

15g 牛油 butter 

1 tbsp (15g) 黑可可粉 dark chocolate powder 


Method做法:

1. 酵母加进温牛奶 Add yeast to warm milk 

2. 加少许糖入牛奶激活酵母 add some sugar to activate yeast 

3. 干湿材料混合并揉面 mix wet and dry ingredients and knead 

4. 发酵两小时 proof for 2 hours 

5. 面团分成两半 divide dough into 2 

6. 加黑可可粉入其一 add chocolate powder to 1 portion 

7. 再发酵1小时 proof for 1 hour 

8. 分成几份 divide into few portions  

9. 把黑面团放在白面团内,揉成长条  wrap dark portion with white portion and roll 

10. 再发酵1小时 proof for 1 hour 

11. 放入170度预热烤箱烤30分钟  bake in 170 degree preheated oven for 30 minutes


Note: 全麦面包不耐放,三天内最好吃完。吃不完最好冷藏。wholemeal bread can't keep for more than 3 days, after 3 days best to store in freezer

【Eng Sub】No Cook Low Sugar Red Date Longan Tea |❤️无开火低糖桂圆红枣茶 | 冷天气就要喝|温补抗老


No Cook Red Date Longan Tea  

无开火桂圆红枣茶

Hot Red Date Longan Tea is Best for this cold weather 热热的桂圆红枣茶最适合现在这种冷天气喝


(Yield 3 cups 可制3杯)

Ingredients 材料:

8 Dried Red Dates 红枣

4 dried longan 桂圆

40-45g rock sugar 冰糖

1 litre hot water 热水


Method做法:

1. Preheat thermal flask with hot water and pour out after a minute 

用少许热水预热焖烧罐并倒掉

2. Add all ingredients into thermal flask 

加全部材料入焖烧罐

3. Add hot water till 95% full  

加热水至9分满

4. Cover lid and rest for 3 to 5 hours 

盖上静置约3至5小时

5. Ready to serve 

即可趁热喝。


Note: Best to consume on the same day 最好当天喝完。

Health Benefit: Boost blood circulation, anti-aging, keep body warm 

益处:促进血液循环、抗老养颜、温 补

【Eng Sub】Soft Tiffany Blue Chocolate Chips Muffins |No Mixer | Low Sugar & Oil |❤️ 贵气蓝玛芬蛋糕 | 松软又低糖|无需打发


Recently so into making muffins, as it is so easy and fast! And I am happy to achieve this Tiffany Blue without using artificial colour! 

最近喜欢做玛芬蛋糕,因为容易又快速。也很开心可以在无添加人造色素的情况下取得这个贵气蓝!太喜欢这个颜色了!


Tiffany Blue Chocolate Chips Muffins

贵气蓝玛芬蛋糕

Yield 8 muffins (6.5cm silicone moulds) 

可制成8个玛芬蛋糕(6.5cm的模具)


* simple ingredients 简单材料

* less sugar & oil 少油少糖

* No Mixer 不用打发

* No Artificial Colouring 无人造色素

* Not too oily nor sweet 不过油也不过甜


Ingredients材料:

A:

60g blueberries (mashed) 蓝莓(压碎)

60g caster sugar 细砂糖

50g plain yogurt 原味优格

1 egg 鸡蛋

45g Neutral flavour oil(I used rice bran oil)  无味食用油(我用米糠油)

1/4 tsp vanilla essence 香草精

(Optional) chocolate chips (可加)巧克力粒


B:

165g All Purpose Flour/Plain Flour 普通面粉

1/4 tsp baking soda 小苏打

1/2 tsp baking powder 泡打粉


Method做法:

1. A ingredients Mix well 

A材料混合均匀

2. Sieve through B  

过筛B材料

3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients 

干湿材料混合

4. Mix till no trace of flour 

搅拌至无干粉

5. fill cup to 80% full 

加粉浆至8分满

6. (Optional) Top with chocolate chips 

(可加)加巧克力粒

7. tap to release air bubbles 

震几下去除气泡

8. Bake at 170 degrees preheated oven for 20 min 

放进170度预热烤箱烤20分钟


Note: Next day still soft and moist. 隔天依然松软湿润
